“Virgo” do’s and don’ts


Don’t play mind games. Virgos view mind games and manipulation as dishonest and sneaky. They won’t trust or respect you if you do this.

Do not make them the center of attention all the time. Some Virgos who are shy and stay away from the spotlight, but that’s not to say they all do. Let them have their time in the limelight, but don’t constantly put them on show.


Pay attention to your own personal hygiene and appearance. Virgos are perfectionists, and are usually well-groomed. Pay attention to your nails, scent, and hair. Make yourself look nice. Your Virgo friend may comment on you if they think you need a little help, but they are rarely malicious or mean when doing this.

Be considerate of their feelings. What’s going on inside Virgo’s mind is often a mystery to those around them. When they are brought to the point of expressing their displeasure with a person or situation is often to the surprise of those around them. Virgo is patient and kind, but only has so much patience and kindness, and when it’s gone, it’s gone! They can sometimes bottle their feelings up out of politeness.


When a Virgo feels strongly about something, don’t argue. Your Virgo is passionate about what he or she believes in and is unlikely to back down from any argument. Virgos are extremely observant - nothing escapes this sign - and can run circles around their opponent.

Observe how Virgos can be patient, but not very tolerant of imperfections. If you are making a funny noise, they might move around uncomfortably, or tell you to knock it off.


Compliments like “You look beautiful today.” or “You’re my best friend.” are definitely appreciated. Virgo’s make an effort with their appearance, due to being such perfectionists, so a compliment makes them feel their efforts didn’t go unnoticed. They will usually compliment you back sincerely.


Try making them laugh. They like comedy movies and funny comedians. To make a Virgo laugh can sometimes be a little tough. The joke can’t be too immature, but it can’t be too dirty, either. Just keep it real.


Keep in mind that they know if you are only pretending to be nice. Virgos only have about 1 or 2 real friends. They might be friends with a lot of people, but they truly only have a few “best friends.”


Listen when a Virgo talks to you. They are good listeners themselves and find it rude when ignored.


Don’t be pompous or stuck up. Virgos HATE people who act spoiled rotten and feel a sense of entitlement, like the world “owes” them something


Understand that Virgos will listen to your advice, but will most likely do something else nontheless. They will do whatever is best for them. For example, if they ask you “Should I pick the red one or the black one?” and you say “I like the red one.” they will consider it, but then they will choose the black one. Don’t get insulted. They considered your idea, but went with theirs.


Comprehend that even though they are sensitive, they can be very defensive. If you pick a fight with a Virgo just because they look defenseless, think twice, they have a spine of steel and a tongue to match!

Don’t tell them too much information, such as very personal or intimate things because they can feel a little uncomfortable.


Be careful with what you say. If you said something bad last year, they will still remember that and use it against you.


Do not embarrass them in public. Ever! They are extremely aware of everyone’s flaws, especially their own. Teamed with their natural shyness, Virgos panic, which no one will ever see, but it will stay in their mind forever.


Be tactful and diplomatic, they have NO tolerance for rude, tactless people.

If you’re not naturally intelligent you better be gifted with conversing. Virgos love talking, due to Mercury in their sign or have a unique character. Otherwise, a Virgo will not waste their wit and charm on someone they feel is inferior. This is why some people regard Virgos as boring. It is not necessarily the fault of the Virgo but more likely the Virgo in question wasn’t enamored enough with the person to care about making a lasting impression. They know they have many positive attributes and can win over a crowd if they didn`t hate being the center of attention so much, but they reserve their charm for possible mates and new friends.


If you’re a woman, don’t act dumb or dress too over the top in front of a Virgo woman - even a Virgo man won’t find it appealing. Also, if you’re a female friend of a Virgo, never flirt with her man. Virgos in long term relationships guard it with their lives and can be very bad-tempered and jealous.


They will flinch at constructive criticism. However, negative criticism meant to be hurtful will not be taken too kindly and they can become spiteful, vindictive and very nasty.


Virgos are very insightful and intuitive, so always tell the truth and be genuine. If the truth hurts, then they will expect you to use their diplomatic talents. They don’t like people who are fake.


Virgos are very well-mannered and refined so you will have no chance of being friends with one if you are ignorant, obnoxious, vulgar, selfish, rude, a slob or ask for sex on the first date.


Virgo’s value substance. If you’re looking to date one be deep and a little bit mysterious, but not too aloof, where they feel they are not needed. They will see through it, and even get angry.

More often than not when talking about astrology virgos like to be angels over virgins when discussing or even bringing up signs.

Virgos like to adjust things, keep in mind they always put their 2cents in and hate change and when you defy their beliefs and even preferences.


Don’t go through their stuff. If you find a virgo is keeping something from you don’t bring it up.


If they like you, they would tell you in front of other people that surprised you and others.They try so hard to find their true love.


Don’t try to push a Virgo to do something. They WILL go the opposite way or see you as controlling. Virgos have an insatiable desire for success on their OWN terms and also have a secret desire to break free from all the turmoil that’s going on inside of them. If they feel like you are trying to impose your own views on them (ie. trying to change a Virgos mind about HOW to go about achieving something), they WILL be spiteful towards you.
